Ahhhhh New AD campaign for The Ragged Priest :) This time they are going for the pastel trend whilst still keeping it looking Rock'n'Roll :P Pretty much want everything which is not surprising...
I have just started the Brighton project at College. It is an interior design project and at the end I hope to produce a chair, lamp and some form of wall art! All in 3 weeks :O
I saw this AD campaign by Mulberry and thought it suited this project well :)
Photographed by Tim Walker (one of my many obsessions)!
...
On Monday my class and I are going to Brighton to get pictures and inspiration.
REALLY looking forward to going :)
My friends and I have already planned our itinerary which includes a trip to the Choccywoccydoodah cafe :) :D!!
This is the Choccywoccydoodah shop in Brighton!! EVERYTHING is made from Chocolate (and cake)!! Apart from that man! And the walls :P...
All of last week I have been making my Brown skirt for the colour/skirt project at College!! I decided to make the frame out of Willow, and sew fabric panels to it...
I actually think that Peter Pilotto's AW 2012 collection is my favourite from Fashion Week. I love the digital prints, the florals, the dress cuts and shapes! But mostly THE FUR! ( Fake of course)! The fur looks SOOOOO soft and even though it is in really bright colours, it gives the garments a delicate look! I just want to touch it SOOO BADLY!!!...
This is my favourite... SO LUXE!!...
...Reminds me of Chromosomes...
... See! The fur makes that punchy floral print really sophisticated and elegant!

One of my all time favourite designers is Holly Fulton! I love her Robotic, Art Deco inspired prints and bold colours. Her fashion week AW 2012 collection featured BUTTERFLIES and the colour PINK!!! Who wouldn't love that?!
Watching the Brit Awards at the moment, and I just thought I would blog about it! LOVE Florence and the Machine!!! LOVE Florence Welch's dress... Custom made Alexander McQueen of course!
I just can't get enough of ERDEM!!! They continually bring florals to the catwalk, but no collection is ever the same!! Florals are usually a summer thing but Erdem manages to translate the floral theme into Autumn/Winter!!...
Gone are the days where fashion shows consist of models walking in a straight line, advertising clothes! (They still kinda are, but OH WELL)
Fashion shows have turned into big productions! Designers are now competing for the best and most memorable fashion shows! Alexander McQueen has always had extravagant catwalk shows but designers are now starting to join the band wagon, including Stella McCartney...
I can't find a better quality video, but the idea of the show was a flash mob of dancing, super models interrupting guests enjoying their dinner :P Well, I wouldn't mind having my dinner interrupted by Stella McCartney's dancing super models!
"On a chilly night in London, Stella McCartney invited a few friends (you know, like Kate Moss, Rihanna, Mario Testino, and just about every high powered editor in fashiondom) to an old church in Mayfair. We were all sitting pretty, eating vegetarian food (of course), and then there was a magic show. Alexa Chung levitated on the tips of swords. It was cool. And then there was a scream, and the flash dance began. What followed was an epic fashion moment of professional dancing and supermodel Vogue-ing. Amber and Shalom even did a walk off on chairs. Like so many videos attempting to capture a bit of glamour, this one doesn't do the moment justice. But at least it's a view into a fabulous fashion experience. Well done, Stella."
One of my favourite fresh designers at the moment is Simone Rocha. I first got familiar with Simone Rocha's SS 2012 collection and I loved everything!! At first I was reminded of a more urban Erdem, mixing the delicate lace with plastic! AW 2012 still has this look to it! Plus shiny silver metallics!!!! The pony skin and acrylic brogues are probably one of Simone Rocha's more well known designs, and these have also been featured in the AW 2012 collection...
