Discovered Heaven!

Yesterday before going to Wireless, my friends and I did a bit of shopping.

We had a good old nosey down Brick Lane, where we discovered the shop; "Shop 172"!

Think Sci-fi, digital prints, NEON, laser cut, METALLIC!

I was in Heaven!

One of the designers that really grabbed me was Lizzie Burns, who designs and makes accessories from reclaimed Leather. AND STUDS AND CHAINS! Under the brand name: EABURNS!

So cool! I want them alllll...

Spaced Out!

The other day I visited INTECH! A space/science planetarium centre :)

I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more if I was 12 years younger! The place was filled with lots of small children getting in the way of my science photos. (That sounds sooo creepy, sorry!) I saw a film in the Planetarium, which was about black holes, which was interesting but made you feel like you were floating; very relaxing and I almost fell asleep. They wouldn't let me take photos in the planetarium (meh)! I got a few pictures in the main bit, where they had a lot of things to play with (i'm such a child :O). One of these things was a ReacTable; a very cool music making, DJ table thingy :/ Hard to explain, but they used it in a Swedish House Mafia video. Here are some videos which without words probably explain what the ReacTable is a lot better than I ever could!...

I want one!

LONDON!

Had a really busy trip to London with some friends on Thursday :) Mainly for Final Major Project research! We visited 4 museums and then had 6 hours in Oxford street! Spent WAAAAY too much money but i'm trying to forget about that :/

First we went to the Huntarian museum to look at the pickled body parts! I didn't get any photos because we weren't allowed :( And i'm too much of a goody goody to break rules like that! :(

Then we went to the Natural History Museum....

I also took some bird photos for my friend who is studying birds for her FMP!...

...Then we went to the V&A for 5 minutes and walked straight out, because they have got rid of the fashion section !!!! Outrage!! So we went to the Science Museum, which had also got rid of the fashion technology section :O They had lots of space ships though...

I am also going to Intech (the science place) on Tuesday and to London again on Thursday to visit Cyberdog for some futuristic fashion inspiration  :P
